K's Florida
Just a place to post some pictures and comments about being in Florida.. Hasn't been the big adventure I thought it would be coming back here to live again, but hey we aren't in our 20's now and if we don't want to get jobs, we have to watch our pennies.. Still, we should get out and see some more of the beautiful things here.. Some of my pictures are from visits I made prior to moving to the Atlantic coast. I wish we had moved to the Gulf Coast.. but can't have it all, right?

Spring is coming..
Guess I will be attempting to grow these seeds I picked up the other day... I have an ugly galvanized fence around my back yard here.. It was a necessity because of all the trespassing kids in this neighborhood.. Protects our dogs but we still don't have much privacy because now they cut through the neighbor's yard on the other side and through our front yard and walk past our picture window.. Heathens.. So, I will try to plants some tall growing plants and vines and I won't have to see them walking behind the fence....

salt or seasoned salt
3 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp butter
dash of soy sauce
dash of garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.. add a couple tsp of salt.. I like seasoned salt instead of table salt
Boil the wings for 7-8 minutes. Dry well with paper towels
Place the chicken wings on a wire rack in roasting pan.
Bake for 20- 25 minutes on one side, flip and bake for for 5 more minutes.
Remove and turn off oven..
Heat honey, butter, soy sauce and garlic powder until mixed.
Toss the wings in the sauce and return to the turned off but still warm oven for a few more minutes before serving.. YUMMY!
